Malcolm David Anderson
July 6, 1955 – March 27, 2023
With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Malcolm David Anderson, Monday March 27, 2023, at home in Val-David at the age of 67. Son of the late Helen Jane Baird Anderson and Leonard Thomas Anderson.
He leaves behind his loving wife Margaret (née May), brother Brian Anderson (Cynthia), Aunt Rosemary Anderson, their children Tara (Marc), Kimberly (Devin), Scott (Daniella), Glen (Stephanie), grandchildren William, Scarlett, Liam, Jaxon, Lachlan, Baby on the way (May 2023), Camron, Owen, and his many cherished cousins, nephews and nieces.
His larger-than-life character, big heart and open arms always welcomed anyone who crossed his path. He was a proud father and granddad who would beam at any chance he got to tell someone stories. His big burly hugs helped many and he was always ready to lend a helping hand. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends that have become family over the years.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday July 8, 2023 from 2p.m to 4 p.m at the Brunet Funeral Coop of Sainte-Agathe (in the past JH Vanier), at 30 Préfontaine Street, Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Lung Health Foundation (lunghealth.ca) (COPD), La Fondation médicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d’en-Haut (fondationmedicale.com), SPCA (spcall.ca) or a charity of your choice is appreciated.
A Celebration of Life with a traditional “TEAM DRINK!” in his honour will be held early July 2023 for family and friends.

C'est avec le coeur lourd que nous vous annoncons le décès de Malcolm David Anderson. Il est décédé paissiblement à la maison le lundi 27 mars 2023. Il était le fils de Mme Helen Jane Baird Anderson et de M. Leonard Thomas Anderson.
Il laisse dans le deuil sa femme bien aimée Margaret (née May), son frère Brian Anderson (Cynthia), sa tante Rosemary Anderson, ses enfants Tara (Marc), Kimberly (Devin), Scott (Daniella), Glen (Stephanie), ses petits-enfants William, Scarlett, Liam, Jaxon, Lachlan, Baby on the way (May 2023), Camron, Owen, ainsi que plusieurs cousins, neveux, nièces, parents et ami(e)s.
Son caractère plus grand que nature, son grand cœur et ses bras ouverts accueillaient toujours quiconque croisait son chemin. C'était un père et un grand-père fiers, qui rayonnaient à la moindre occasion de raconter ses histoires. Ses gros câlins costauds, en ont aidé beaucoup et il était toujours prêt à donner un coup de main. Il manquera beaucoup à sa famille et à ses amis qui sont devenus sa famille au fil des années.
La famille vous acceuillera samedi le 8 juillet 2023 de 14h à 16h à la Coopérative funéraire Brunet de Saint-Agathe (anciennement J.H Vanier), au 30 rue Préfontaine, Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts.
Au lieu de fleurs, un don peut être fait à la Fondation pour la santé pulmonaire (lunghealth.ca) (MPOC), La Fondation médicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d'en-Haut (fondationmedicale.com), SPCA (spcall.ca) ou un organisme de bienfaisance de votre choix.
Une célébration de sa vie avec un traditionnel "TEAM DRINK!" en son honneur aura lieu début juillet 2023 pour la famille et les amis.
